Pinnacle Run 5K Benefiting Regional United Ways
(Bristol, Tenn.) – The Pinnacle will host a 5K Run and Walk Saturday, Aug. 8 benefiting United Ways of Bristol, Elizabethton, Johnson City, Kingsport and Southwest Virginia. The event will take place at The Pinnacle, the regions premier shopping destination starting at 8:00 a.m. with the Kid’s Fun Run and Pinnacle Run 5K beginning at 8:30 a.m.
“This 5K is a run for the entire family with a fairly flat and fast course,” says Property Manager Heather Hill. “This is an exciting fun new event for our guests, our tenants and residents while raising monies to benefit United Ways that serve over 100 agencies regionally.”
Managing the race is We Run Events whose resume includes The Crazy 8s 8K Run, The Haunted Half Marathon and The Johnson City Turkey Trot. Course will start and finish at Johnny Brusco’s New York Style Pizza and will run entirely on the property of The Pinnacle shopping center passing by Bass Pro Shops and the areas only Marshalls, Boot Barn and Versona.
Those interested in entering Pinnacle Run 5K and Kids Fun Run can print an entry form or register online under 2015 Events at werunevents.com. Individuals who prefer not to participate but would still like to help can do so by volunteering day of event.
